Vlogsplosion is a video-centric style for the K2 Wordpress theme. Basically, what that means is that it's a second CSS document that modifys the look of the K2 theme.

It requires Wordpress 2.2

and the K2 Theme.

 

Once you have those installed, download Vlogsplosion 1.0. Unzip the file and you have a folder called "vlogsplosion" with a file inside named "vlogsplosion.css" and a few images. To install, upload the vlogsplosion folder to wp-content/themes/k2/styles then go to the K2 options page (under Presentation in your Wordpress admin) and select "vlogsplosion/vlogsplosion.css" from the Style dropdown. Make sure you click Update Options to make it take effect.

 

Many option can be configured inside of Wordpress - sidebar widgets, header images and more. Further customization can be done by editing the vlogsplosion.css file in a text editor (make sure you are using plain text mode - don't use MS Word). It a fairly simple file with lots of commenting. If there is something else that you want to alter and don't see in this file, the style rule for it probably exists in the main K2 style sheet (wp-content/themes/K2/style.css). It might be best if you don't edit that file. Instead, copy the rule you want to modify to vlogsplosion.css and edit it there. Since vlogsplosion.css is the second css file, it's rules override those in styles.css. This way when a new version of K2 comes out it will be simple to upgrade.
